Perched on top of a hill in Argyll is a farm that has been there for hundreds of years. It once formed the two townships of North and South Leac na Ban. What remains of these township buildings are a number of barns now used by us, the current occupiers, Alex and Polly Hamilton.
There are four barns and a steading (byre) as well as the farm house and a wooden self catering holiday cabin.
Angus’ Barn so called because that was the name of the last shepherd to work there.
The Tractor Barn because the tractor used to live in it – although it doesn’t any more.
The Green Barn because it has a new and green wriggly tin roof,
The Victorian Barn because that was when it was upgraded.
It is the Victorian Barn that has been converted to use as a Studio with temporary seasonal art and craft exhibitions.
